WELCOME...
...to the website of Sean Monahan. I created this site in order to show off some of the
fruits of my leisure. I am a student of both science and art. I have degrees in both
Music and Computer Science. On this site you will find some examples of my original
music, some of my personal programming projects, and some of my creative writing. I
hope anyone who takes the time to listen to, use, or read any of these things enjoys them.
If you are searching for a specific Sean Monahan, the chances are very high that I'm
not the one you're looking for. There is an improv comedian named Sean Monahan who
trained at The Second City in Chicago. There is a Hawaiian paddleboarder named Sean Monahan
who was the first to cross the Kaiwi Channel in the 32-mile Silver Edition Molokai to Oahu
race in 2000. There is a writer named Sean Monahan, author of A Long and Winding Road.
There was a fourteen year old boy named Sean Monahan, son of an Irish Army Sergeant serving
in the Spanish cavalry, who was orphaned by a renegade Indian ambush in 1775. I am none of these. I grew up in Center Township, Beaver County, Western Pennsylvania, and I am quite unremarkable.
This is not a blog. Other than in this section, I'm not going to use the word 'blog' on
my website. There are three reasons for this:
- Blogs are generally updated every day. I'm not even going to pretend that I'm going to
try to update my site that frequently.
- Blogs are generally written by people that have no concept that there is NOBODY who
really cares what they have to say on their personal websites each and every day. I have no
such misconceptions. I know nobody cares about this site. If you do, you either a) know me,
or b) are really bored.
- I hate that word.
Note: Some areas will be under construction for awhile.

MUSIC...
I went to school at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. I graduated as a dual major in
Songwriting and Music Synthesis. The Music section of this website
contains some examples of my original works, finished and in progress.
PROGRAMMING...
I earned my B.S. in Computer Science from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. I am particularly interested in computer game development, and I belong to a Las Vegas-based
game development group called Sin City Games. The Games and
Apps sections of this website contain info and downloads of some of the
games and applications that I have worked on, finished and in progress.
CREATIVE WRITING...
I'm not a skilled writer by any stretch of the imagination, but once in a while I get an idea that
I think might make a good story. In the Writing section of this website,
you'll find some original stories that I've been brave enough to let people read.
